Your opportunity

  • Serves as first point of contact for all individuals entering the lobby of Janus Henderson’s Denver office
  • Uses guest registration software to notify all stakeholders of guest arrival
  • Monitors lobby and conference center and reports any improprieties or incidents to Physical Security Team
  • Assists in accurately tracking all metrics related to position
  • Answers incoming phone calls and direct them to appropriate personnel
  • Provides administrative support and duties as required for clients and guests
  • Greets conference center visitors and directs them to appropriately scheduled rooms
  • Coordinates daily conference room schedules using in-house reservation system and provides updates to physical security as required
  • Maintains clean and orderly appearance of the Conference Center including preparing conference rooms for daily meetings and presentations, stocking refreshment area, cleaning dishware and ordering supplies as needed
  • Directs food caterers to appropriate conference rooms and/or food preparation areas
  • Carries out additional duties as assigned

Must have skills
  • Professional appearance and attire required
  • Strong customer service acumen
  • Timely, punctual, and dependable attendance is essential
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional manner in person, in writing and via telephone
  • Comfortable engaging with individuals (including executive leadership) in a corporate environment
  • Ability to handle high volume of walk-in traffic and incoming calls related to the Lobby Desk
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High School diploma or GED required

Nice to have skills
  • Relevant experience as concierge or receptionist in a professional work environment with high client facing interaction preferred
  • Desire to cross train in other office services areas

Compensation information
  • The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
